Welcome to the new and improved Close the Door, Please.
The revamped website features a familiar, but brand new look for you to feast your eyes on. I told you a few weeks back that changes were a’coming and I did not disappoint.
Along with the new look, we have made some major changes within the site’s structure and content focus. We have brand new staff writers that have joined our team and will be posting from time to time on the site, so be on the lookout for articles from them.
Also, we have changed what Close the Door, Please will focus on. Before, Close the Door, Please wrote on nothing but the ins and outs of the Hollywood social life and providing snarky commentary about stories that came across our desks and tips from nosey sources.
After doing some soul searching (walking around in circles for about 3 minutes), we decided that we wanted to expand our focus on more topics.
Our world is changing around us and most don’t pay attention to what is happening; we just go along with the flow. We can’t live like that. Our readers are mainly young adults (myself included), who are at the threshold of a new era. There aren’t many websites out that cater to our demographic and truly breakdown how important the political decisions being made affect our lives. Hell, most adults don’t know either.
We want to change that. Close the Door, Please will now not only focus on the entertainment news of Hollywood, but also on the wheeling and dealings of Washington, D.C.
Should be interesting and we feel that this is a great new venture for us to embark on. And don’t worry. Just because we’re going to be talking about more serious topics here and there, that doesn’t mean we have lost our edge.
We have no problem calling out those dumbasses Heidi and Spencer Pratt, then two minutes later shifting on what Congress is doing for you and the country. No problem at all.
So, what are you waiting for? Dive right in and experience the new Close the Door, Please.com!
